Release our roads till 10 june, otherwise will come on roads

Srinagar:- The female multi-purpose health workers of Jammu & Kashmir have appealed LG lead administration to release their pending salaries.
The health workers said that they are without the salary for the past six months or so.
There are thousands of Female Multi Purpose Workers working in health centers across J&K under 2211 head (Health & Family Welfare), a fully center sponsorsed scheme but since the start of scheme, workers have never got salaries on time.
They said FMPHWs working under 2210 head never face such issues and get salaries on time but on the other hand workers working under 2211 head suffer everytime when it comes to salary.
The female multi-purpose health workers said that despite being the permanent employees of the union territory they have to come on roads for their salary.
Education of our children gets affected since they are not able to pay their fees regularly, they said, adding, despite putting in best efforts during the COVID pandemic but still then we have to beg for salaries.
Despite working hard, neither our DPCs are being considered in stipulated time nor salaries are being released on time, said a worker.
The claims on women empowerment and Beti Bachaw, Beti Padhaw are just proving to be hoax on ground as despite providing primary promotive and curative health care for almost all the national health programs, our salaries aren’t not being released on time, she said.
Our loan interests have got double but we are unable to submit it as we are without salaries, said another worker.
In absence of Salaries since December last year, we are going through very tough times, she added.
Workers requested concerned authorities to come up with a policy so that workers won’t face such problems everytime and formation of DPCs from time to time so that deserving workers will get promotion on time.
They threatened that if government won’t release their salaries till 10th of this month, then they will come on roads in every district.
They further added that officers are always assuring that you will get salary soon but on ground their assurances prove hoax.
