Slain was involved in killing of two Policemen:- IGP
A LeT Commander was killed in an encounter that broke out between security forces and militants in area of Kreesbal Palpora Sangam area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, officials said on Sunday.
An official said that a joint of team of police and CRPF after receiving information about the presence of militants launched search operation in the area.
He said that as the joint team of forces intensified searches towards suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the party, which was retaliated, thus triggering an encounter.
During exchange of fire LeT militant Adil Pary of Ganderbal involved in killing of two policemen was killed.
