A soldier was killed in an accidental grenade blast in the North’s Kashmir Kupwara district, officials said.
A grenade exploded accidentally resulting in injuries to soldier identified as Bharat Yaduwanshi was on sentry duty at Gonipora Gugtiyal Camp in Kupwara, officials said
They said injured soldier was rushed to 428 Field Hospital Zangli, Kupwara, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile police has taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation.
