Three people were killed and six others were injured on Friday when a passenger vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Kathua district, police said.
An official said that the driver of the cab lost control while negotiating a blind curve, resulting into the accident.
He said that in the accident nine persons were injured among them three succumbed into injuries while as six more are undergoing treatment among them few are said to be critical.
Police has taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation
