A tanker driver died in a road mishap in Ramban area of Jammu division, officials said that on Friday.
They said that one Tanker bearing registration no. JK02CL- 3270 which was driven by driver namely Javed Ahmad S/O Mohd Yousf R/O Chamalwass in Banihal tehsil of dist Ramban on its way coming from Jammu towards Srinagar in rash and negligent manner when reached peerah at about 0300 hrs , he could not control over speed of said Tanker and rolled down from the spot caused an accident.
Due to accident driver of the said Tanker got seriously injured and died on spot, they said.
Dead body of the Driver shifted to District Hospital Ramban and FIR no 110/22
u/s 279/304 A IPC p/s chanderkote has been registered and further investigation has been taken up, they added.
