An elderly man was killed after being hit by a train in Panzgam-Bijbehara section in South Kashmir on Wednesday.
An official said that Mohammad Afzal of Banduna Pulwama came under the moving train near his native village, resulting in his instant death.
The body was later on shifted by railway police to hospital for medico-legal formalities, he said.
