Ganderbal; 01-Feb: Anti-encroachment drive continues against those who encroached state or Kahcharie land in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Today district administration Ganderbal resumes anti-encroachment drive in district after halted because of heavy snowfall.
Today Naib Teshildar Shahid Iqbal and his team retrieved 50 Kanals of land today from encroachers in the Yachama Kangan area of Ganderbal District.
A senior revenue official said that on the express directions of Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, encroachments by influential encroachers are being identified and anybody found encroaching on State or Kahcharie lands will be taken to task. He said that several such influential encroachers have been identified and the drive will continue.
