Srinagar,06 Feb (KS): Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday said to have arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 07 Kg of “charas chura” like substance from them.
“On a specific information Police party from Police Station Aishmuqam laid down a naka at Exchange crossing Aishmuqam and apprehended three drug peddlers“a police spokesperson said in a statement issued to The Kashmir Scroll.
He identified them identified as Arif Hussain Raina Son Mohammad Afzal Raina, Yawar Ahmad Magray Son of Nazir Ahmad Magary both residents of Ainoo Aishmuqam and Javid Ahmad Merasee Son Bashir Ahmad Merasee resident of Ishnard Govass Aishmuqam.
He said that 07 Kgs of Charas Chura like substance recovered from their possession, adding that a Case registered and investigation has been taken up.—(KS)
