Kupwara teenage girl body retrieved from Jhelum in Srinagar after Three days

Srinagar, Feb 15 (KS) : Body of a teenager girl from Kupwara, who had jumped into Jhelum in Sonwar area of Srinagar on Feb 12 evening, was retrieved from the water body on Wednesday afternoon.

The 17-year old girl from Trehgam Kupwara district.

Official sources told Kashmir Scroll that body of teenager girl a resident of Trehgam Kupwara, was retrieved by a joint team of Srinagar river police SDRF and Army

The body has been taken into custody by police and after medico-legal formalities would be handed over to the family for last rites, the officer added.(KS)
