One dead, three rescued
Srinagar, 17 Feb(KS): A man lost his life while as three others were rescued after a snow avalanche hits Macchil area of Kupwara on Friday.
An official told the Kashmir scroll that a four persons came under a avalanche in Chutiwari to Ring area of Macchil in Kupwara and among them one lost his life while three others were rescued.
He identified the deceased as Aijaz Ahmad Tantray son of Gh Hassan Tantray resident of Ringbala.
He added that rescue operation is still going on to ensure no one is trapped under the snow—(KS)
