Militant slain in Awantipora was involved in killing of Sanjay Sharma:- ADGP
Srinagar:- A militant who was involved in killing of Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma, was killed in a gunfight with the police and security forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday, officials said.
Killed militant has been identified as Aqib Mustaq Bhat of Pulwama (A category), ADGP Vijay Kumar said.
He initially worked for HM terror outfit, nowadays he had been working with TRF and he was killer of late Sanjay Sharma, ADGP said.
The encounter had started during the night in Pandgampora area of Awantipora.
An armyman has also been killed in the encounter.
