Earthquake of 4.4 magnitude hits Afghanistan


Srinagar, 08 Mar (KS):An earthquake of 4.4 magnitude struck 131 km East of Fayzabad, Afghanistan on Wednesday according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
In a tweet the National Center for Seismology as per The Kashmir Scroll said The earthquake occurred at around 16:12 pm on Wednesday. The earthquake struck at a depth of 140 kilometres at a longitude of 72.02 and latitude of 37.23.
The National Centre for Seismology tweeted“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.4, Occurred on 08-03-2023, 16:12:54 IST, Lat: 37.23 & Long: 72.02, Depth: 140 Km ,Location: 131km E of Fayzabad, Afghanistan“.—(KS)
