Scores of JKSSB job aspirants detained in Jammu


Srinagar, 08 Mar(KS): Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) job aspirants were detained at Dogra Chowk Jammu City on Wednesday to protest against the alleged awarding of contract to APTECH Ltd for conducting various exams.
They [JKSSB aspirants] have protested against the involvement of APTECH by the Services Selection Board (SSB) to conduct computer-based job examinations in Jammu and Kashmir.
They alleged that the agency has been blacklisted in several states like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Assam.
They while talking to Kashmir Scroll said that earlier the Delhi High Court has even imposed a penalty of ₹ 10 lakh on Aptech for alleged malpractices in recruitments.“Still they are hiring this company “ they said.
They appeal the LG to hire the reliable company to conduct the exams.
Similarly Scores of (JKSSB) job aspirants in Srinagar’s Press enclave stage protest against the purported grant of contract to APTECH Ltd. for conduct of various exams.
Earlier, The J&K Congress said in a tweet, “Congress stands with aspirants who are suffering due to illegitimate alliance of Aptech + JKSSB + Corrupt officials + BJP leaders.”—(KS)
