Biker killed, pillon rider critically injured in Sopore road accident

Srinagar, Mar 12 (KS): A biker was killed and his pillion rider was critically injured after he lost control on speed and rammed into a tree along road side in Watergam Rafiabad area of Baramulla district on Sunday.

An official told the Kashmir Scroll that in the incident biker Musaib Ahmad Bhat (23) son of Abdul Hameed Bhat of Baghi Rehmat Iqbal Nagar Sopore and Rashib Zahoor Saboon (21) son of Zahoor Ahmad of Baghi Rehmat Iqbal Nagar Sopore were injured.

Both were shifted to hospital where Musaib succumbed to injuries while Saboon was referred to SMHS Srinagar for advanced treatment, he said.

Meanwhile, police have started investigation in this regard. (KS).
