Srinagar: The National Child Development Council (NCDC) on Wednesday organised a day-long workshop on ‘Public Speaking’ for school and college students.
On the occasion, Chairperson Punalur Municipality, B. Sujatha attended the programme as Chief Guest, while Public Relation Officer, NCDC, Silpa Murali gave welcome speech, & Ward Member Vasantha Ranjan delivered Presidential Address.
Meanwhile, an inaugural function was also held , in which Punalur Municipality Chairperson, B Sujatha inaugurated Babaji Hall in presence of Global Goodwill Ambassador Baba Alexander.
A felicitation event was also held, in which Kiran Deepu K (Nikki’s Cafe) and Devananda Ratheesh were presented Social Media Influencer Awards by Baba Alexander.
Moreover, Gandhi Bhavan Vice Chairman P. S. Amalraj, who won the State Youth Icon Award was also honoured during the function, while Jacob George (Senior Principal, Oxford Central School, Karavallur), AK Nazir (President, Punalur Cultural Committee) & Joy Pastan (CEO, Punalur News) were felicitated by the management.
