Mentally unsound lady jumps into rivulet in Sopore, rescue ops started

Srinagar, April 22 (KS): A mentally unsound lady on Saturday jumped into a rivulet in Sopore area of Baramulla district even as rescue operation has been started.

An official told the Kashmir Scroll that a mentally unsound lady identified as Fazi Begum (85) wife of Gh Mohd Dar resident of Dokalbal jumped into Pohru rivulet at Dokalbal Sopore.

He said that police party has rushed to the spot and rescue operation has been started with the help of locals.—(KS)
