Srinagar, April 29 :- A truck conductor lost his life after receiving electric shock while driver was injured after hitting an electric pole at Shalteng chowk in Srinagar on Saturday evening.
An official said that a truck bearing registration number JKO2DA 4557 hitted one electrical pole at Shalteng chowk due to which conductor received critical injuries while driver received minor injuries
He said that both were shifted to JVC hospital where doctor declared conductor brought dead while condition of driver is stable
Conductor has been identified as Kala, a resident of Makraian Punjab while driver has been identified as Dilawar singh a resident of Jammu.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation.
