12 tourists among 13 injured in Kulgam road accident

Srinagar, May 06 (KS): Around a dozen tourists and a driver were injured in a road accident in Khudwani area of Kulgam on Saturday.

An official told the Kashmir Scroll that one Matadoor Tata LP B/R No. JK21B-0916 driven by Reshi Kumar son of Badri Nath resident of Doda carrying 12 domestic tourists turned turtle near Khudwani kulgam by pass.

In the incident, driver and around 11 tourists were injured who have been shifted to hospital for treatment, he said.

Injured tourists have been identified as Areda (09), Neelam (03), Shahea (42), Pinki (34), Nana Saib(62) years, Harshit Atel (40), Manjolae (38), Damander(68), Rohri (31), Kondi Dhumar (60), 11. Bakti (09) and Malhaa Maryesh (07), all residents of Puna.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case and started investigation.
