Srinagar, May 12 (KS) :- A man from Rajouri was injured after he was attacked by a bear in Drugmulla area of Kupwara on Friday.
An official told the Kashmir scroll that one person belonging to Bakerwal community identified as Tufail Ahmad Chechi (50) son of Chand-din Chechi resident of Rajouri was attacked by a bear when he was grazing his cattle near Marbal colony Drugmulla.
Injured has been shifted to SDH Kupwara for treatment where his condition is said to be stable, he said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started investigation while wildlife department team has been rushed to the spot to rescue the wild animal.
