Srinagar, May 16 (KS) :- A minor boy lost his life after he drowned in stagnant Dal water in Srinagar on Tuesday.
An official told the Kashmir Scroll that a minor boy drowned into water after he tried to climb into a boat.
He said boy identified as Nasrullah Gucchu son of Mohammad Yaqoob resident of Guchi Mohalla Dal died on spot.
He added that his body was fished out after that his body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation.
