Srinagar, May 19 (KS) :- A leopard attacked a flock of sheep and around 15 sheep were mauled to death in Wantrag Ranbirpora area of Anantnag on Friday.
An official told the Kashmir Scroll that around 15 sheep were killed while several were injured after attacked by leopard.
While giving further details he said , three killed sheep belong to Sakib ahmad of Golpalpora, 02 killed and 1 injured belonging to Ab Rashid kha of Harmohalla, 03 sheep killed and 02 injured belonging to Showkat ah khan of Wantrag, 07 sheep killed and 03 injured belonging to Ayub khan of Brakpora.
The wildlife department has deployed a team and they are on job to take necessary action, he said.
