Srinagar:- A couple from Gujarat died after their boat capsized in tourist resort Pahalgam in south Kashmir’s Anantang on Monday.
Officials told the Kashmir that that a boat with a couple on board capsized in Lidder river near Mandlana Pahalgam.
An operation was immediately launched by the locals and all both were rescued from the river, they said.
They said both were shifted to hospital where they were declared brought dead.
They have been identified as, Patel Sharmila Baen abd Patel Bikha bhai who are resident of Ahmedabad Gujrat.
Further proceedings in this regard have been initiated, he said.
