Biography of Sachil Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar, widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers in history, was born on April 24, 1973, in Mumbai, India. He is often referred to as the “Little Master” or the “Master Blaster” due to his exceptional skills and achievements in the sport. Tendulkar’s career spanned an incredible 24 years, during which he achieved numerous records and accolades.

In Test cricket, Tendulkar amassed 15,921 runs, which stood as the highest total until 2018 when it was surpassed by another great batsman, Ricky Ponting. Tendulkar also holds the record for the most centuries in Test matches, with 51 centuries.

Over the course of his career, Tendulkar received numerous accolades and awards. He was named the Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1997 and won the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Cricketer of the Year multiple times. He was also honored with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, in 2014.
