The meteorological department on Monday forecast for intermittent light to moderate rain and thunderstorm till June 2.
From May 29 to June 2, the MeT department has forecast intermittent light to moderate rain, thunder and lightning with possibility of hailstorm and gusty winds at scattered places.
He said that currently there is partly to generally cloudy at most places of J&K and there are chances of Intermittent Light to Moderate Rain/Thunderstorm to occur towards late afternoon/evening at many places.
He said that there is no forecast of any major rainfall from 29 May to 02 June and weather is likely to remain mainly dry from 3-6 june.
He advised farmers to postpone farm operations like spraying and harvesting of crops till 2nd June.
