Earthquake of 4.3 magnitude hits J&K

Srinagar, June 13 (KS) : An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter scale occurred in Katra district of Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning, National Center for Seismology said.

In a tweet NCS as per news agency— Kashmir Scroll said the earthquake occurred at around 02:20:59 IST on Wednesday. The earthquake struck at a depth of 81 kilometres at a longitude of 75.79 and latitude of 33.14.

The National Centre for Seismology tweeted“ Earthquake of Magnitude:4.3, Occurred on 14-06-2023, 02:20:59 IST, Lat: 33.14 & Long: 75.79, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: 81km ENE of Katra, Jammu and Kashmir—(KS)
