Srinagar, Jun 19 (KS) :- Army on Monday joined the rescue operation team to retrieve the body who drowned in flood channel in Hamdaniya colony Bemina Srinagar on Sunday.
An official told news agency— Kashmir Scroll that an eight year old boy identified as Ikhlas son of Ab Qayoom resident of Hamdaniya Colony drowned in flood channel near Mithayi Bund Hamdaniya colony on Sunday
He said that soon after he drowned, locals along SDRF team and police started rescue operation, however, they failed to retrieve the body of minor on day 01.
Operation was put on halt for night and it resumed on Monday where army has also joined the operation, they said—(KS)
