Two persons injured after attacked by bear in Shangus Anantnag

Srinagar, June 20 (KS) : Two persons were injured after they were attacked by a wild bear in Brah Shangus area of South Kashmir Anantnag district on Tuesday.

An official told news agency—Kashmir Scroll that a wild bear attacked two persons while grazing cattle in the upper top Punchnard Brah shangus area and injured them.

The injured have been identified as Dawood Chara son of Yaqoob Chara and, Nazir Ahmad Chara son of Zubir Ahmad Chara both residents of Sonch Halka Dethu.

Both persons were shifted to PHC Chittergul where from referred them to Sub District Hospital Shangus, he said.

He added that wildlife teams have rushed to the spot to capture the wild animal—(KS)
