Srinagar: The 4th District Bandipora Yogasana Sports Championship 2023-24 organized by District Bandipora Yogasana Sports Association under the banner of J&K yogasana Sports Association and Sponsored by J&K Sports Council concluded here in International Delhi Public School Bandipora on 30-07-2023.
The championship was played in sub junior, Junior, and Senior both boys/girls and men/women categories, and witnessed by a large number of spectators with great enthusiasm.
Tahira Begum, Secretary District Bandipora Yogasana sports Association with other office bearers of the district Bandipora Yogasana Sports Association conducted the 4th District Championship with great success and her work was appreciated by the chief guest Mr. Raaqib Rasool Parray, General Secretary Jammu Kashmir Yogasana Sports Association, who gave away the prizes to the players, performed best during the participation.
The Chief Guest also encouraged the players and said that Yogasana sports is a proper way for physical and mental health and also thanks to Mrs Nuzhat Gul Secretary Jammu and Kashmir sports council who provides logistic support for smooth conduct of championship.
Guest of Honours, District Manager Bandipora Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Mr. Basit Nabi Wani Competition Director Jammu Kashmir yogasana Sports Association, Mr. Mohammad Altaf Bhat Joint Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Yogasana Sports Association and Mr. Shabir Ahmad Dar yoga Coach Jammu and Kashmir sports council were also present during the championship.
The championship was concluded on 30-07-2023 in a peaceful atmosphere. The other office bearers of DBYSA was also present. Mr. Farooz Ahmad presented a formal vote of thanks to the dignitaries and the participants of the event.
